Founded in Guangzhou in 1954, Double Fish started with school table tennis tables. In 1974, it registered the "Double Fish" trademark, symbolizing "good things come in pairs." In 1979, it launched China's first hard plastic table tennis ball. It has supplied equipment for major events including the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics. In 2024, Double Fish became a China Time-Honored Brand, and its PAR40+ ball was the official match ball for the Paris Olympics. It has grown from a local manufacturer to an internationally recognized Chinese sports brand.
